Construction

  • HHF's Pathway to Hope program (P2Hp) currently has the following opportunities in Haiti and in Panama.
1) Haiti - Christian University of Northern Haiti (UNCH) HHF brings to UNCH a development plan that will greatly impact the lives, experiences, and endeavors of the UNCH School of Theology as well as the remaining colleges, students, and faculty. The immediate needs include:

  • Solar and photovoltaic (PV) technology, PV materials, and devices to convert sunlight into electrical energy for the server room and administrative building,
  • New safety flood lights and light poles from the dormitories to the classrooms, amphitheater, and chapel.
  • New electrical and technology grid utility poles for energy distribution throughout the campus where deferred maintenance have reached a critical point requiring dire improvements.
2) Panama - JLM Christian Foundation (JLMC) JLMC has a 6.5-hectare parcel of land in the heart of Penonomé, Panama, and is in the process of building and expanding the campus that houses the JLM Christian Academy, living quarters for House of Hope students to complete college, a safehouse for P2Hp missionaries, short and long-term volunteer missionaries. Current projects include:
  • Solar and photovoltaic (PV) technology, PV materials, and devices to convert sunlight into electrical energy for the elementary school and chapel.
  • New Artesian well, filtration, and pump to provide fresh clean water for the entire campus.
  • Classroom additions for the current elementary school children.
  • Architectural plans and construction of a, new building for Middle School and High School students.
